In a nut shell, …
In a nut shell, Disco was in the 80s, Techno was in the 90s.
Disco died and was replaced by house music. Even if you hear disco today, it will still be called house.
Techno died and was replaced by trance music.
The difference between house and trance is in the speed or BPM. House is usually between 110-135 and Trance is between 130-145. So in essence trance is faster than house.

i would give it 3/5 because the melody is great while the vocal is terrible. The voice is coarse. The lyrics is OK. Hey by the way i checked out some of ur suggested Armin tracks. They are pretty good.

he hasnt completely …
he hasnt completely left his element. He didnt go from trance to house… he went from progressive trance to progressive house. The difference between the progressives are minimal and I think he knows that too. He just wants his music slower thats all =)

When you make a …
When you make a remix/track you want your native elements to be present in the track.
I spoke to Nitrous oxide and he goes if you don’t have any of your elements in the track then its shouldn’t be under your name. I like DJ’s who stick to their sounds because, those sounds are unique. Armin has turned into a Tiesto/combo with Deadmau5 sounds. He has left the trance genre all together.

Well I ume you mean the two so called “remixes” he did? of the two poppy/rock bands? I do think they are aweful considering what this guy is capable of doing(example above)… Oh well I have meet him and asked him wtf are you playing this chessy music. And you know what he said? The same old ty statement. Don’t be a prisoner of your own style. I guess he doesn’t want to be a trance DJ anymore… oh well he is soon going to find out what the consequences of that :p.
