I am wondering what is the point of wearing the headphones at the concerts when it looks like all that is happening is that he is jumping around a little bit behind a desk playing a CD he already recorded? it doesn’t look like he is doing much

He was listening to other music clips while mixing. DJs do this because they need to locate a music part, from different song or interval.

Was it a good concert?was meant to head but couldn’t go then

A couple of my friends were supposed to go as well, they went to see him last time and said he was amazing.
They couldn’t go this time ‘cos it was too close to St. Patrick’s Day and it took us a couple of days to recover!

When you look at Tiesto’s concerts, All he seems to do is dance and press some buttons, but sometimes he just dances with out doing anything. So technically he is not playing any music during his performances? or does he? Just curious!
What in detail does the DJ like tiesto does during the concert? I see him during the concert dancing and waving and adjusting things that don’t seem to have much effect on the music.

Yes he does play music.he doesnt have to be pressing buttons all the time.Djs dont do that!
